Social activities
Welcome & Rentrée barbecue held in early September. This is the
welcome (back) barbecue giving newcomers a chance to meet and chat with us informally and
for old-timers to catch up after the summer holidays.
Fireworks Night. The traditional fireworks fun held in November complete with hot-dogs. This attracts lots
of attention from the locals as well as the congregation.
Christmas Fair held in December with many stalls selling Christmas gifts. And the choir
(and everyone else) regale the fair with Carols. And don't forget St Nicholas (alias Santa Claus) in his grotto.
Summer Fete held in May is the last social event before the summer break. Stalls
selling absolutely anything, games, tombola and barbecue. Not to be missed.
And there are concerts, plays and other events throughout the year. See the
pewsheet for the current events programme.
