Holy Trinity Church, Maisons-Laffitte

Family and social events

We have a full range of family activities and social events. This list is not exhaustive by any means, but is indicative of of the sort of activities that take place throughout the year.

Family group activities

Christmas Nativity, a presentation of the nativity story done by the children of our Church for all the family. Naturally, this is held in December.

Other activities include the training sessions to support our Sunday Group teachers, and specially invited speakers to help us understand our mission.

Parish Lunches are held periodically throughout the year, all are welcome to share in this moment of fellowship

See the pewsheet for details of upcoming events.

Social activities

Welcome & Rentrée barbecue held in early September. This is the welcome (back) barbecue giving newcomers a chance to meet and chat with us informally and for old-timers to catch up after the summer holidays.

Fireworks Night. The traditional fireworks fun held in November complete with hot-dogs. This attracts lots of attention from the locals as well as the congregation.

Christmas Fair held in December with many stalls selling Christmas gifts. And the choir (and everyone else) regale the fair with Carols. And don't forget St Nicholas (alias Santa Claus) in his grotto.

Summer Fete held in May is the last social event before the summer break. Stalls selling absolutely anything, games, tombola and barbecue. Not to be missed.

And there are concerts, plays and other events throughout the year. See the pewsheet for the current events programme.
