First Maisons-Laffitte International Scout Group is part of the British Scout Association.
The Scout Association's aim is to promote the development of young people to achieve their full potential, through a balanced programme of exciting activities among which camping and other outdoor pursuits play an important part.
It welcomes both boys and girls, of any faith or background, as Beavers (6-8 years old), Cubs (8-10½ years old), Scouts (10½-14/15 years old and Explorers programme (14-18 years old). All activities are run in English, so the children must be reasonably fluent in the language. The Group is also an Associate member of Scouts et Guides de France for administrative reasons The Group is divided into different age groups: The Scout Group that meets in Holy Trinity Church is not running at the moment because of a lack of adult leaders.
